No, it's been a long time since all HD components were made here...  Like everyone else they have outsourced production to other country's...

I don't know...  2 instances out of how many have they made over the years...  And now that they are aware of the problem you may be better off going with their wheels than another brand...  They will at least have the Quality Control pretty tight on the metal thickness from now on... 

I just can't wait until the Ambulance Chasers git through with this little incident...  They will be researching accident records back for decades...  Can you say "Cla$$ Action Law$uit"?
